Josh and the whole team at WillowRidge are the best in the business. They've done multiple remodel projects for us on our home in Anchorage and built a new cabin for us in Girdwood. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my next project. -Dave

I've worked with Josh and his crew many times over the years. He is a first rate contractor. He is very good at coming up with ideas to fit the clients needs and then turning them into the real product. He is also a master craftsman with intricate wood trim details if that is desired. Very professional and great to work with. Can't recommend this company enough.

I first met Josh Sundstrom, and his general manager at the time, when my wife and I were considering a limited remodel of our second home in Girdwood. We felt comfortable with their approach to our project from the outset. Josh is clearly the driving force behind the culture at WillowRidge Construction: he understands the trades, thinks outside of the box, is creative in his use of materials, and imparts his same positive attitude to downline employees. Our project involved uncovering areas of the structure that required repairs beyond the original scope. In every case, the WillowRidge team developed a solution that was sound and sensitive to the added costs. Some of the design elements of the remodel weren't completely defined by my wife and I before connecting with WillowRidge; Josh regularly identified approaches that were innovative, durable and aesthetically pleasing. The quality of the additions to our home were excellent in every respect. You may find a contractor at a lower price, but I can confidently say that the craftsmanship and appearance of the work performed by WillowRidge meets or exceeds anything out there. Josh and his team are honorable, trustworthy and driven to provide a unique finished product of which you can be proud. My buck stops there.

WillowRidge Construction is a quality, professional, friendly, company to work with. Josh, and his entire team are true craftsmen. Attention to detail and follow through is what you will be able to count on. WillowRidge worked to get a few things repaired, and completed in a house that we sold in 2019. We are now entering the design stage to build a new home with Josh and his team. We are looking forward to the entire process!......Art & Pam

I had the pleasue of working along side Josh and some of his Willowridge employees on a small neighborhood project, within our HOA. Josh's work ethic and ability to think outside the box for creating solutions, was above par. For him and his company stepping up to help our HOA complete our project was a huge boost. Extremely professional team, can't say enough on there craft and ability to get things done. Highly recommend.

I've known Josh since shortly after he started Willowridge Construction and have always been impressed with his drive for quality work and detail, attention to craftsmanship and eye for design. Those are all qualities that I strive for in my work as a furniture builder and it is refreshing to see that in his work in running his business. It has been fun watching Willowridge grow while sticking to the fundamentals of quality craftsmanship and design.

Greetings, I'm one of roughly 40 homeowners in one of the smaller South Anchorage neighborhoods. Through our Home Owners Association (HOA) we maintain a small recreation area with a playground for the neighborhood families and kids to enjoy. On that playground, we had a wooden play structure that was installed decades ago and the years of harsh Alaskan weather had deteriorated it to the point where it was a safety hazard to the children and it needed complete replacement. Our HOA pooled our resources, and over the course of a few months had selected and purchased a new play structure from a supplier down in Washington (*installation not included) and had it shipped up from their factory in South Texas. Over the next few months, we approached numerous local and outside contractors for assistance in the layout and installation of the structure, but each time were met with significant obstacles which prevented us from moving forward. On a referral, we contacted Willowridge Construction and Josh was tremendously accommodating, even taking time to come out to the playground site that very afternoon of our first phone call to assess the situation and discuss possible solutions to help make this project a success. Over the next few weeks, Josh and his Willowridge staff were nothing short of amazing, guiding us through the layout and installation of our new playground structure in a very challenging location which had limited equipment access and highly variable soil composition. They donated a significant amount of time and equipment to the project, even to the point of making a round trip drive to the port in Seward to trailer the playground materials to Anchorage and deliver them to the job site. Throughout the entire process, Willowridge was a pleasure to work with and their commitment to providing excellent service and craftsmanship was evident each step of the way.
